the tinners way.

The Tinners way is a community arts project, the walk it's self leads from St.Ives to Cape Cornwall, the project is run by visual artists, Alessabdra Ausenda and Lizzie Black.
The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery and 'feast' - which fund quite a few other art projects in cornwall.
The brief is unclear to me at the moment, but if i were to work for the tinners way i would have to make a product that links with the walk itself, i think it can be anything we want really, so i could do some photography work if i were to work for this company, the outcome of the work will be shown in their exhibition in September, so it will have to be finished before that,
The main point of this project would be to promote the Walk, so that more local people are aware of it.
the company often work with local schools.

pro's:
i think the main pro of working with this company would be that it's so open, and relaxed, although there is a deadline it seems really good, i could do some photography.
we have been briefed by Alessandra and Lizzie, and they've showed us previous work, which looks pretty good, so it all sounds quite promising.

Con's:
I think a really important con for this company is that it doesn't really have a set task or deadline, so i wouldn't be entirely sure what to do, and i may rush it, or find i don't have very much time, also i wouldn't know that resources to use, as i would really want more guidance.

Outcome:
from looking at everything, i decided I'm not entirely sure about this company, as i don't really want to make promotional materials, as i would be afraid of getting it wrong, and as they are real company's, it would have a real impact.
i will keep this project in mind when coming up with my final decision.
